 The first-ever DVD release from John Wicks captures he and guitarist extraordinaire Dennis Taylor
in a very special unplugged setting. This video performance, Lessons Learned, is meant
for anyone who had missed the opportunity to hear Wicks' more recent material or see
one of his occasional acoustic shows of the last several years. The perfomance was recorded at
McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica, CA on August 28, 2010.Lessons Learned includes the following tracks: "Her Stars Are My Stars", "The Sun Sets Over London Town", "Lay Your Burden On Me", "He's Gone", "Things We Said Today"/"Bus Stop" (Beatles/Hollies covers), "Learning To Live Again", "Come on Round", "Sink or Swim", and "Starry Eyes". Matthew Sweet gives us a special treat by joining John and Dennis for the last number of the evening. Wicks explains - "Having devoted a great deal of time to my band projects, I'm especially pleased to have this opportunity to showcase some of my acoustic songs.
